I'm Pregnant ! Again??.. What??

You heard right!! I'M PREGNANT 

"WOW" is the correct word, I have been on birth control pills for 3 months now. How could this be??? Im not sure but I am very grateful to GOD for blessing us with another baby baby #3. We were not planning on having more babies "RIGHT" now, but GOD had different plans for us. I feel very blessed right now and loved by all of you "readers". 

How did I find out ?? 

I was late on my period but didn't think much of it since being on birth control can screw up your period a bit. As I was looking at my calendar I seen the last day I had my period was a while ago. I tell my husband about it.. we suspect I could be pregnant but just leave it at that. I said "I'll give a week, today I asked him "what would you think or feel if we were to have another baby?" he reply was " well of course I would be happy".  It was 8ish pm today he left without even telling me anything. He then calls me from Walgreens asking me if I would like something from the store?? Say what ???? I didn't even know you were gone! His reply was: "well if you weren't online, you would have notice"!! hehe .. 

He gets home with a pregnancy kit I do as directed wait 2 mins and sure enough its a + positive!!

Who was the first person I called?? My mom she's is my best friend and then I posted it on Facebook like 30 mins later!!!

Boba Carrier: Review & Giveaway Special Edition Diaper Dude

Let me start off by saying "I LOVE MY BOBA"!

I have tried a couple different types of carriers from "expensive" to the ones you can purchase at Target or Wal-Mart. Needless to say none have been able to satisfiy my needs so I returned them all. You might be wondering "Well what is she looking for in a carrier"? These were a couple features I was looking for.

• Comfortable for both myself and lil' bam bam I mean he is sitting in it after all.
• Feature for a newborn baby 
• Comfortable shoulder straps
• Some kind of pocket to put my keys
• Cool colors or prints

I don't think I was asking for much. I thought I would never find "THE ONE" carrier for us. Until I seen a Boba postings on Facebook and then checked out their site to see all the amazing features. Boba has generously sent us one to review. I couldn't be grateful and happy. I was jumping for joy, LITERALLY!

I chose the Pinstripes Special Edition Diaper Dude Boba Carrier. It's the newest addition to Boba Carrier collection and inspired by the Diaper Dude Bags. 

Alright so lets talk about Boba Carrier

The Boba is a soft structured carrier, fitting babies from infant stage till 45 lbs. My son is 9 months and weights 19.10 lbs meaning I will be using this beautiful carrier for a long time. Not only that but will also be passed down for "future babies" how awesome is that?

Picture below you will see my husband carrying my son. Boba has this amazing removable sleeping hood, which is awesome because it prevents your baby from having a dangling head. Not only is is good as a sleeping hood but I've also used it as a sun protecter living in Texas you want to stay in the shade keeping cool.

 You can unsnap the sleeping hood when its not being used

Then you'll roll it up and tuck in the cute pocket Boba provides in their carriers. So handy right??

The Boba has comfy shoulder straps that don't leave RED intension marks on your skin. The Boba is designed to fit parents of all shapes and sizes without having to purchase an extension belt. All the straps are fully adjustable and the elastic bands are provided so that you can tuck the strap in. As shown below in the pictures. Also the buckles that Boba uses for these carriers are high quality military grade.

Boba also has a super cool feature of the shoulder strap holder to keep your purse or diaper bag in place. All you have to do is unsnap the the holder place your purse strap on it and then snap it back down. 

That's it !

How do you use it for an infant?

Boba has two snaps on the body of the carrier and two snaps on the waist part. You would then snap them together making it look like the pictures below. Making it smaller for your infant.

Remember, my list of things I wanted in a carrier? 

One of them was a pocket somewhere to put my keys or phone. Well Boba has me covered they not only have one pouch but two pouches to put whatever I want so long as it fits. 

Is that awesome or what ?

I LOVE MY BOBA! Oh sorry I already said that !
Seriously though I could totally wear my Boba all day long and not be tired of it. My husband also wore it on our trip to the Navy Exchange and out in town. I asked him if he was tired or his shoulder hurt? He said "not at all, its very comfy. I can tell Ashton loves it" thats all I had to hear. YES! husband approved too. I believe that straps and waist cushion makes this carrier so comfy. The body of the Boba makes it to where you don't have to worry about your child slipping away. Its built snug you can wear your baby in the front or on your back, both ways are comfortable. The material is breathable and comfy as well. There is so many colors and prints to choose from aside their two new Special Edition prints. There is nothing I would change about this carrier I think its Perfect! its everything I was looking for in a carrier and then some. If you don't have a carrier and are looking to find "THE ONE" be sure to check out the BOBA. I recommend the Boba Carrier to all my fans, friends, family no doubt about it.

Adryana is 6 years old TODAY!!!!

Adryana is 6 years old today!!

Wow time fly's so fast. It feels like just yesterday I was in the hospital having contractions, ready to pop her out. Im so grateful to have such a beautiful, healthy little girl. She changed my life in so many ways, and has made me a better person. I thank GOD for giving me such an amazing gift.

Letter to Munchkin,

Mami, I love you so much I hope one day when you get older. You read this and find yourself smiling ... you are one intelligent, outgoing, loving little girl. I thank GOD everyday for giving me YOU!!

GOD has big plans for you, always make him first. Nothing is impossible with GOD and always remember that GOD lives in your heart and he never leaves you.

The Happy Heiny's is a one size diaper that will fit most babies from 8lbs - 35lbs made to fit baby from birth to potty training which is awesome because you will only have to purchase once and your done.

• Happy Heiny's uses their own custom high quality milled fleece made in the USA.
• 4 different sizes for your diaper
• Includes 2 microfiber inserts (one small & one large).
• Happy Heiny's comes in aplix and snaps

Happy Heiny's in the smallest setting, 
as you can see it can get fairly small also has cross over snaps for those smaller waisted babies, great feature to have.

Inside of the Happy Heiny's micro fleece is super soft. 

I love the front of the diaper for its wideness getting a good grip on the waist of the baby. 

Happy Heiny's has this awesome wide pocket to stuff, 

which makes stuffing so easy. I LOVE IT.

My Experience

I'm so glad, I was able to try out the Happy Heiny's One Size Diaper. 

It has become one of our favorite diapers that I use very often. 

Fit: Happy Heiny's fits Ashton great. It's nice and snug around the waist and around the legs the snaps are on the perfect settling making it a awesome diaper for us to use. We also did not experience any RED mark which is always great. The fit is so great we did not have any leaks. I wouldn't recommend the One Size diaper for newborns it may be a bit to big, but Greenie Beanie Bottoms also carries the Mini One Size pocket so they have you covered.

 Ease of Use: My husband has put this diaper on Ashton once and he did alright with snaps. Snaps can always be a bit more work. Trying to find the good fit might take a couple tries but after you find that fit, its a breeze. Aplix is always easier because its just like putting on a disposable diaper on, both types are awesome its really just a personal preference.

Day time/Night time: During the day I only used one insert and it worked awesome, even during naps we experienced zero leaks during the night time I used both inserts and another one just to play it safe and it worked great for us woke up the next morning and Ashton was dry the diaper was soaked but he didn't leak through his pajamas, which was pretty darn amazing.

Overall:  I love Happy Heiny's they are now one of our favorite diapers we use this diaper in our rotation. We love using it during the day and during the night with an extra insert. I've had some problems with a couple of other brand diapers with leaks and we experienced none with our Happy Heiny's which is a huge deal for me, I don't have to keep on changing his clothes because its wet. I totally recommend Happy Heiny's One Size diapers and to all my fans, friends and family. I think you have to have some Happy Heiny's in your stash.

New BabyKicks Basic Diaper to review. 

It has a lot of great features that make this diaper pretty awesome.

It is a very nice and trim diaper that is designed to fit from 7-40 lbs babies. The snaps are  go down in the shape of "V" to get a right fit on your little ones. It has a 4 snap rise setting.

This new version of BabyKicks has a Microfleece Inner Lining which wicks away moisture from baby creating a stay dry effect. It also has a wide front pocket that is easy to stuff.

The insert is made with 2 layers of absorbent hemp terry and 2 layers of microfiber. The microfiber absorbs quick so you'll want to stuff the insert with microfiber on top and hemp in the bottom.

Also If you want natural fibers on your babies bum you can also use the BabyKicks as an AI2 by placing the insert hemp side UP DO NOT place microfiber on top as it can irritate babies bum and dry it out

I also love the leg elastic. The mircofleece is facing inside the diaper therefore creating a guard causing the diaper NOT to leak which I love. The leg elastic (gussets) are nice and snug. A feature I really like, it also does not leave RED marks.

I love the fit on Ashton it fits him very trim,  its snug and fits comfortable around his waist and legs.

 

One little problem!! We did experience leaks (as show on picture) I think we experienced these leaks because the diaper goes in on that crease where the snaps come together creating a small gap. I don't have a BabyKicks in aplix to compare the difference as far as how much different the fit would be and if we would have the same problem.

My Experience
When I received the BabyKicks, I was impressed the packaging it came with had all the information you need to know when buying a new cloth diaper and how to treat it. I prepped the diaper and after wearing it for a few days I totally fell in love with it for the fact that the diaper is trim and it fit ashton so well. The baby kicks side snapping might be a little challenging at first but once you get the hang of things its gets easier. I love the baby kicks style along with the style I did have a small issue I had some leaks (shown on the picture above.) I did try to use another insert, adjust to a different snap setting and I just keep on having the same problem. Its like the diaper just caved in on that area and there was a small gap. I still have not solved the problem I hope I can figure out how to fix it. All in all its a great diaper I love the bright color I chose. Totally would recommend this BabyKicks Basic Pocket Diaper to my fans, friends, and family.
